Child Pornography May Have Gone Viral On Facebook
According to one source, by 9 p.m. Thursday night, a pornographic video of an infant had over 16,000 shares. NSFW language.
1. The first mention of the video on Twitter happened around 5:00 p.m. Thursday night.
4. As the night progressed, the mentions of the explicit video increased dramatically.
6. By 9 p.m. Thursday, judging by the frequency of mentions on Twitter, it appears the video was moving faster, being shared, and seen by more users.
8. Judging by the conversation on Twitter, it appears a large Facebook page with a large enough audience to cause it to move incredibly quickly shared the video originally.
10. Even more problematic, users then began uploading screenshots of the video to twitter, seemingly to alert other users about the dangerous content.
11. Here’s a screenshot of what appears to be the video posted to Facebook that is being shared around the Internet:
12. There are still a lot of questions surrounding who uploaded the video, how long the video was up for, or how fast it moved.
15. UPDATE: A spokesman for Facebook has issued a statement
“Nothing is more important to Facebook than the safety of the people that use our site, and this material has no place on Facebook… We have zero tolerance for child pornography being uploaded onto Facebook and are extremely aggressive in preventing and removing child exploitive content… We are pleased that this material was reported to us quickly enabling its swift removal.”

WuTangPam a month agoFB is too busy removing pictures of Gay people kissing, and mom’s breast feeding. Those will get taken down in minutes. Or a meme with the word “fuck” in it. This is beyond revolting. Maybe they should put more effort into enforcement of these types of photos, instead of fixing their damn Timeline.

If people were so angry then why did they share it? That’s distributing child porno. & I find it extremely racist that one of the posts said “white people s m h.” Yeah bc no black people molest children. So many blacks like to call racism when they are the 1st to be racist as hell but that’s ok.

Ew. Ew. Ew. So glad this did not show up on my feed. People who shared it and other things are horrible in my opinion. Also, take down that blocked out picture, its disgusting and whats the point seriously besides making me want to vomit.

Omg Im so glad Im not on fb anymore. I just dont understand how it got that far in shares and likes? I cant imagine not a SINGLE person reporting the video. If so, why didnt facebook immediately remove it? This is on fb and all those people who shared it. And seriously, please take that screenshot off! We know whats happening and its too sickening.
