A Duck Named Buttercup Can Walk Again Thanks To A 3-D Printed Prosthetic Foot

Oh my gooooooodddddd

1. This is Buttercup. Buttercup is a boy, and he was born with a backward foot.

2. His backward foot made walking around really tough.

3. So the good people over at Feathered Angels decided to help Buttercup out by making him a brand new one with a 3-D printer courtesy of NovaCopy.

4. Buttercup’s backward foot was amputated. :(

5. Look at how big he’s gotten! This is Buttercup walking around on a very stylish peg leg, waiting for his new foot.

6. Buttercup is going to be fitted with his plastic replacement in the next two weeks. You can follow Buttercup’s road to recovery here.
