People Lost It After A Gran, A Mum, And A Daughter Said They Get Mistaken For Sisters

    Earlier this month, this photo of three American women went viral after everyone attempted to figure out who was the mother and who were the twin daughters.

    And then, a week later, in the UK, Donna Galt, 33, and her 14-year-old daughter, Mya, went on TV and said they too were often mistaken for sisters.

    The reactions were not kind...

    This week, UK tabloid The Sun published a story about a daughter, mum, and gran who all claim they get mistaken for sisters. The Sun wrote, "Meet the London gran, mum and daughter who look the same, party together and talk sex."

    Grandmother Gwen Slade, 65, her daughter Jemima Slade, 44, and granddaughter Lily Slade, 16, told the paper that they go out together and have ‘Who wears it better?’ nights.

    "We’re constantly competing for who can wear a dress the best and shock many people with the fact we can all wear the same outfit and look amazing," Jemima — the mom in the group — said.

    Unsurprisingly, the reactions to the Slade family's article hasn't exactly been kind...

    Some are wondering if everyone involved with the story was blind.

    Others pointed out how a lot of these new stories about white families are just white people trying to jump on a bandwagon.
