ryan roller 11 months agoActually, in the original pilot Nibbler’s shadow isn’t shown. It was redrawn and added when Season 1 came out on DVD, and in subsequent syndication.

According to the staff, that is incorrect and has been there the entire time. This is even a still from someone on Reddit’s VHS premiere he recorded back in 99. They went back in and added Fry’s shadow in later episodes though, to explain an alternate timeline in the Why of Fry. Also, they removed the shadow in the Anthology of Interest to explain yet another timeline break.
