Dog Really Loves "Auld Lang Syne"

Dulcis Pater 4 months agoThis dog is clearly not happy. That saxophone is hurting its ears. “I sing better lying down.” What the hell is that? No, the dog is in pain and so is lying down to cry.

Dulcis Pater 4 months agoAnd when most dogs howl, they don’t do so laying down on the ground. Maybe it’s because I have a beagle who bays more than he barks, but there isn’t much of a difference to the sound he makes when he is in pain. This dog does not look happy.

matt 4 months agoMost vets and animal researchers think dogs howl at sounds like this and sirens because they are trying to “howl back” to communicate, ie notify the “creature” of their presence - not because it hurts their ears. They don’t howl at dog whistles or loud fireworks, they bark. http://scienceline.ucsb.edu/getkey.php?key=200
