Response to Susan W.,
You obviously don't know much about the game. The difference is that McEnroe, Conners, etc, did not threaten to kill the officials. She showed her true colors when she lost her temper.
She was not disqualified by the way. She was penalized one point, which happened to be match point. It was her second code violation of the match, which the rules call for the one point penalty. To blame the linesperson for doing her job is simply ignorant.
To say she would probably have beaten Klijsters is further proof that you do not know the game. Serena was beaten, and just could not accept that. You bleading heart liberals always want to play the race card when someone of color is held responsible for bad behavior. Get real.
