These Models End Any Debate Over Whether Ginger Men Are Sexy

Yep, these eight photos are definitive proof.

Red-headed men, unite! British photographer (and redhead) Thomas Knights is dispelling stereotypes about ginger men and showing that they can be “leading-man material” with Red Hot, his first solo photo exhibition.

Knights said he grew up hating his red hair so much he dyed it blond for 10 years. He believes there is ginger discrimination, and that the media is to blame.

The 31-year-old photographer told the Daily Mail: “People assume ginger women are highly sexual, feisty beings: the ultimate woman. But with men, they are emasculated and seen to be unsexy, undesirable, and unattractive.”

Thomas Knights

“Red headed actors are portrayed as undesirable, angry, and weak characters – or the bad guy.”

“There is definitely an ongoing decision that’s being made in Hollywood, and it has created this notion that it isn’t possible for a ginger male to play a hero or a leading man.”

Thomas Knights

“They are never the heartthrob, the hero, or the action star, and it has created this notion that all ginger men are ugly and weak. I want to show that they’re not.”

Knights’ exhibition opens on 3 September at New York’s BOSI gallery. You can keep updated with Red Hot on Facebook here.
