Beyoncé Addresses Elevator Incident In Her New "Flawless" Remix Featuring Nicki Minaj

"Of course sometimes shit goes down when there's a billion dollars on an elevator."

Last night, Beyoncé dropped the audio for her "***Flawless" remix featuring Nicki Minaj and addresses the infamous elevator incident in her opening rap verse.

Listen to the song here on her official website.

Beyoncé's standout line in the remix says: "Of course sometimes shit goes down when there's a billion dollars on an elevator," referring to the elevator fight between Jay Z and Solange.

The family previously released a joint statement about the incident.

Here are the lyrics to her verse:

It stay Yoncé, oh Yoncé in that lingerie

On that chardonnay, it's gonna touch down like a runway

I'm Texas forever like Bun B, and I'm redboned yo

I'm really rit like Donjae, I'm camo in here yo

These thots can't clock me nowadays

You wish I was your pound cake

Boy you know I look good as fuck

You wish I was your babymomma

Want me to come around and give you good karma, but no

We escalate, up in this bitch like elevators

Of course sometimes shit go down

When it's a billion dollars on an elevator

Of course sometimes shit go down

When it's a billion dollars on an elevator

(Ha, ha, God damn, God damn, God damn)

Nicki Minaj tweeted the song last night saying: "Queen of Rap slayin' with Queen Bey."

As expected, the Twitter reaction was strong:

I love that Beyonce repeated the elevator line twice. In case you didn't hear her the first time. She's a troll of my own heart.

The whole time Beyonce was on mute in that elevator she was coming up with her verse #FlawlessRemix

According to Billboard, the Flawless remix features a quick sample of Outkast's "SpottieOttieDopaliscious" horn riff.
