Senator’s Office Denies “Girls Gone Wild” Internship Stunt

The office of Sen. Mark Pryor of Arkansas will not get an intern of Joe Francis’ choosing this summer. posted on

The owner of the “Girls Gone Wild” franchise claimed this morning to have bought a four-week internship on Capitol Hill for the “Hottest Girl in America,” but the office of the Senator involved says it’s a hoax.

“This release is a hoax,” said Arkansas senator Mark Pryor’s press secretary Lisa Ackerman. “This office does not sell, auction or donate internships. Internship positions are determined through an extensive application process. Unfortunately, as Mark Pryor moves into the 2014 election cycle this is the kind of stupid, out-of-left field attacks you will see.”

Joe Francis, who built an enormously lucrative empire off videos of college women exposing themselves on spring break, sent out a release claiming to have purchased an internship opportunity in the Washington office of Senator Mark Pryor, a Democrat from Arkansas for whoever wins the show “The Hottest Girl in America.”
