Romney: “I Don’t Happen To Believe That America Needs New Gun Laws.”
In the wake of the Aurora shooting, Romney says he doesn’t support tighter gun control. Changing the law won’t “make all the bad things go away.”
In an interview with Brian Williams last night in London, Mitt Romney said he doesn’t believe in tighter gun control, even after the mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado.
“I don’t happen to believe that America needs new gun laws,” Romney said. “A lot of what this young man did was clearly against the law. But the fact that it was against the law did not prevent it from happening.”
He also said that changing laws won’t “make all the bad things go away.”
James Holmes, the Aurora shooter who killed 12 and injured over 50 in an attack at a movie theater, bought all four of his weapons and his 6,000 rounds of ammunition legally.

dangerouslytalented 9 months agoIf the current laws are not working, then they need changing. It is not just the mass shootings, it is also the single shootings, the suicides, all that.
