Gary Johnson’s First Television Ad Focuses On Drones

Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson has reoriented his campaign around a key and little-discussed national security issue: Drones. His first television ad features an image of a drone with the words “Right now in Iran, a lot of little kids are about to die.”

Johnson has made his anti-war stances the focal point of his campaign, calling himself “the only candidate that does not want to bomb Iran.”

An email was recently circulated that used the lack of Johnson television ads as evidence that the campaign’s top advisors were embezzling money, which turned out not to be the case.

According to Reason, the Johnson campaign says they’ll have another ad coming soon and wouldn’t specify how big of a buy they’ve made.
