Ewen Jones is generally considered on of the coalition's more jovial MPs, so when he suggested that social services minister Scott Morrison "kick the shit out of" an ABC microphone, he was probably joking.
The exchange occurred this morning when Morrison, clumsy fellow that he is, tripped over an ABC microphone after a media conference.
Coalition MP @EwenJonesMP encourages @ScottMorrisonMP to "kick the sh*t" out of an ABC microphone.
Kicking the shit out of the ABC is not yet official government policy, so we'll assume this was all just a bit of fun.
