Onions can cause kidney damage and failure in dogs, as can grapes. Rachel should be more careful! Especially since she has an actual DOG FOOD brand with her name on it!

Dogs are also lactose intolerant. So a mac n cheese dish with parmigiano-reggiano and cheddar cheese isn't such a good idea.

My Gni Gni girl eats onions all the time, no problem. Snow dog also sucked them down like they were going out of style. I think if a dog like onions, they should be allowed to eat them.But, I suppose a new prohibition is coming up soon. No more onions for dogs. Chicken bones will kill a dog dead. (HA!) and Lord help a dog that eats chocolate! They've not long for this world. (the BS presented here may or may not go along with your sensibilities, but, every dog I've owned has put the big raid on the chicken carcasses through time. All lived quite long. Seneteen and a season, for one)
