I think that she looks BEAUTIFUL. Stop poking fun at her. Poor thing. How would you feel if you were in her shoes?

At first I was kind of wigged out, but if I really think about it, if I looked like the before picture and ended up with the face in the after picture, I think I'd be pretty thankful. Also, I can't wait until the day they start growing Angelina Jolie's lips on the backs of rats and transplant them onto the faces of the masses!

Agreed Ms. C. The poor woman had to explain to a child why she “is not a monster.” Life can be so rough, sometimes, but yet, so inspiring.

The medical technology involved here is amazing. The difference in her quality of life is also amazing! It's heartbreaking that on top of the trauma, she also had to deal with people's horrified reactions to her appearance.
