Way to lead the way in technological advances, America! So jealous of Japan right now. (Click to embiggen.)
I have to question the accuracy of this. In every other comparison on average broadband speeds, the UK comes out above the US. On this one, it’s the other way around. Also, I question the cost per MB for the UK as it seems way, WAY too high.
Is there a legitimate reason that broadband companies advertise their speeds in Megabits rather than Megabytes? Or is it simply just to trick consumers into thinking they’re getting something they’re really not?
AMERICA! Leading the way in waging misguided wars, funding futile wars, inventing new asinine wars on non physical entities! Failing at:
Education
Venturing to space and beyond
Economics
Regulating banks
Youth welfare
Technological advancement
Hearing what it’s people have to say
Inspiring the future generations
Nature conservation
Generating revenue earning exports What it boils down to is that our country spends far too much money waging war than it does building and taking care of itself for generations to come.
Asking the US to build new infrastructure is like pulling teeth, difficult and painful.
Other countries may have super fast speeds but this should also include Bandwidth/data caps. Until thats thrown about you may still have better internet than Japan or other places. Not to mention this infographic is outdated.
