1. Stian Ytterdahl has quite a unique tattoo on his right arm.
The 18-year-old got the receipt from his trip to McDonald’s on Monday tattooed on his arm for no apparent reason, other than his friends told him to.
The teenager, from Lorenskog in Norway, apparently told local newspaper Romerikes Blad: “Some of my mates thought I had been a bit too active on the ladies front recently and wanted to punish me.
“When we were in the restaurant on Monday, they said I had to tattoo a Barbie doll on my bum, or the receipt on my arm.”
2. His parents were less than impressed with his new ink work, with his father reportedly exclaiming: “Do you think you are coming home with that? Your mother has had a break down.”
The LA Times has pointed out the tattoo highlights how expensive a McDonald’s meal is in Norway, with a simple cheese burger costing the teenager 36 krone, which is $6 or almost £4.
Sabelink Tattoo parlour, which carried out the inking, posted an image of the finished result on its Facebook page and offered to tattoo the receipt for the work on Ytterdahl’s other arm.
He accepted and is booked to go back next week.
