A Young Boy Held A Minute's Silence In Front Of A Toy Football Set At The Weekend

The picture was retweeted thousands of times.

This picture of a young boy conducting a minute's silence in front of his toy football set went viral at the weekend.

Ha ha my boy is a loon! He just set this up and said - 'Be quiet dad, it's a minutes silence'

The picture was taken by Arsenal fan Wayne Hughes.

Hughes told BuzzFeed News that his son Charlie started playing with the football figures after getting back from playing for Stevenage Borough's youth side.

When Charlie showed his dad his toys, Hughes tried to tell him he had the formation set up wrong.

But the young football fan replied: "No daddy, it's a minute's silence like what we saw at Arsenal v Burnley."

Hughes said the reaction to his tweet, which has now been retweeted almost 3,000 times, was great.

Here's Charlie saying thank you for all the messages, and "up the Arsenal!"
