    The fact that it may not have been an entirely funny rape joke doesn’t negate the fact that it was a joke. Audience members have a right to be offended by performers, but they also have a right to not attend their shows if they don’t approve of the comedian’s material. It’s not like a rape joke was dropped at a Chuck E Cheese by a stuffed mouse or something. This was a comedy club featuring a comedian who is known for being inflammatory in his act. If you have the propensity to be offended by touchy subjects, you may not want to go see Tosh.
