Microsoft’s motion sensor, Kinect, has been hacked for all kinds of things, but the latest, V Motion Project, may take the cake in terms of complexity — its music is both generated by the Kinect and visualized by it. No surprise it took Custom Logic months of trial and error to tightly integrate the motion, music and visuals. It’s just a shame about the dubstep.

      Finally a way to perform electronic music that’s more exciting than a guy standing at a workbench toggling switches around. And dubstep and similarly technologically tinged music is the only sensible application of this technology.
