I guess my only error was that my numbers were counting males and female in the 1.7 million stat, while in reality if we only count women in UT, that would drop to around1million.
Someone’s in denial, Utah is not the Church, not the majority of it, asIjust pointed out. My point is that some of the cultural idiosyncrasies covered in the article are non-existant among LDS beyond the borders of Utah, which comprises the majority of the LDS population.
On some of theseIthink it is more accurate to say that they are more Utah based LDS idiosyncrasies, mainly limited to or much more emphasized and prevalent in the unique UT culture limited to under2million people, 1,775,988.5 people to beabit more precise, or 12% of the Church :)
