PUSHING DAISIES Creator Hints At Broadway Revival
Fuller is at it again (with my full support) this fall with The Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane, and while promoting it at Comic-Con, he let slip a few comments that got the interwebs buzzing: Could Pushing Daisies be resurrected as a Broadway play? Per Fuller: “We’re working on something that is definitely a Pushing Daisies revival….and the idea would be to have as many cast [members] as we can to participate in it.”
So says the eccentric genius. It’s not much, but it’s enough to pique my interest. I’ve always been so sad that Pushing Daisies wasn’t about to stay on longer, or even get the finale it so deserved. Personally, I just wish it was back on TV or brought back by Netflix or Hulu or something. This seems like a weird choice, but I’ll take what I can get.
