Grande Prairie Tot's Rendition Of Adele Goes Viral

Tiny tot Makena Fedorick may only be two years old. But the Grande Prairie toddler has wowed the world in recent weeks with her YouTube rendition of Adele's song, "Someone Like You."

Dressed in her pink pajamas, dainty pink earrings and lavender bead necklace, Fedorick sings the lyrics she knows and mumbles her way through those she forgets in this video. But the adorable mishmash delivered from Fedorick's kitchen counter is hard to resist.

Chris Fedorick, and his wife, Heather, posted the video of their pop princess to Facebook on March 6. The response from family and friends was so overwhelming that the couple submitted the video to YouTube.

The video has gone viral since it was posted two weeks ago, receiving nearly four million hits.

Fedorick's performance has also earned an ardent following in Brazil and sparked media interest from around the world.

"The Today Show," CNN's Anderson Cooper and other media outlets have forwarded queries to the Fedorick family about their budding diva in diapers.

Fedorick's father, who operates a McDonald's in Grande Prairie, has taken time away from his job recently to field media calls.

"Right now, we're just having fun with this, Chris Fedorick told the Edmonton Journal on Wednesday.

"We are just going to enjoy it. We realize all of the attention is going to stop just as quickly as it started," said Fedorick.

Should a TV debut come soon, it's hard to tell if it will launch a big music career as it did for Jackie Evancho.

Evancho also attracted interest on YouTube in 2009, when she issued an independent album called "Prelude to a Dream." Her 2010 appearance on "America's Got Talent" turned Evancho, then 10, into an international recording star.

But Makena is prepared for a TV peformance. She also knows the words to Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" and a few long songs from Rihanna.
