LOL now that would be funny. However I watched an episode of myth busters a couple of months ago and they said they doing that (or any of the other clever methods to disguise number plates) doesn’t actually work. Funny if it did though!

This is awesome. Sent the link to my teenager. If my son was doing this I’d take him out for ice cream. I can’t believe I didn’t come up with this sooner. Nothing says “I am a meek and spineless sheep” like getting a ticket from a machine and not challenging it, and this gives everyone a legitimate reasonable doubt. If everyone challenged their automated tickets on these grounds, the evil speed machines would go away.

Greg Saunders 4 years agoIt also helps to get a fake I.D. in your victim’s name, just in case your reckless driving causes a deadly car crash. That way, when they scrape your bloody corpse off the asphalt, they’ll be calling the *other* guy’s family to identify the body! Hilarious!!

Jonah Peretti 4 years ago@lassor. The article says that the kids doing the prank borrow a car with the same make and model as the victim. They are in high school so it is not hard to find someone else who also drives a 2005 Civic or whatever.

Anyone can beat that cause the make and modle is in a database behind the numbers, mabee if you rented the same car for a few hours it would work… nice try though
