14 Year Old Who Helped 3 Year Old Find Her Mom is Charged With Abduction

Edwin, a 14 year old boy who was shopping for shoes with his mother saw a lost 3 year old girl wandering around the store and tried to help her find her mother. Long, absurd, story short, he's been charged with abduction. Is this really what the world has come to? Are we that paranoid?
