I don't like it either, but one thing the blurb above fails to mention is that “SyFy” will be a name they can copyright, something they've had difficulty doing with “SciFi” since it's a genre.

What shortsightedness. If they'd gone with “Sai Fai,” they could have secured the “morons who get a random Chinese word tattooed on their shoulder” demographic.
