I don't know if there will be an open casket, but this dog was forced to wear a mask for years because he could not hide how ugly he was on the outside (uglier on the inside no doubt). This dog had toys of all kinds in his bedroom at age 40, with a motion detector that set off an alarm when someone would enter his hallway. Why did a man that had tons of security need such a thing? Well, he ADMITTED to sharing his bed with minors even after the first lawsuit was over and he paid 26 million in hush money. He continued to abuse children after his FIRST lawsuit and had a warning system so he could stop illicit actions if the alarm went off. He moved out of the country to avoid public scrutiny so he could continue doing whatever he pleased. This was an unrepentent pedophile, a boil on the ass of society, not someone to be celebrated or worshipped. I don't care how good of a circus freak he was. OO excuse me, “artist” ya right.

Well, dang. Didn't much like his music because I'm really not into pop music.
But he put on his music making uniform and practiced his music a lot and choreographed and worked at what he called perfection….

I think it's sadder because he never had a “moment of redemption” of some sort. Make all your snarky remarks about the abuse trial, this guy's jams were special. It's also kind of inspiring to see how sad so many people have become. So many people want redemption and want to give forgiveness, and that couldn't happen here.

I don't mean to be needlessly cruel, but I don't understand - at all - the reactions I'm seeing elsewhere comparing Michael Jackson to Jesus and mourning the loss “to the entire human race”. What am I missing?

You know I have been reading some responds to the death of Michael Jackson, and even in the time of passing away some people still have negative things to say. I say look past all his wrongs that he may or may not have done, for it was not done towards you. And remember the good works for which he had done through out the years. And then once you have done that. Remember that one day you shall die as well so reflect on how you would want to be remembered, I am sure we would not like to be badly talked about when we die.
I say All Hail to the King of Pop.
