The NY Daily News has an investigative story about how they were able to transfer ownership of The Empire State building to a fake company. The transaction took place in less than 90 minutes in the city register's office with no verification of documents. The story states that two of the notary witnesses on the “documents” were Fay Wray (of the original King Kong) and famed bank robber Willie Sutton.
