I’m a little concerned and confused at how some of you 1) Interpret the constitution 2) Understand the use of tax write offs. If you are going to take to the comment section to start blasting people at least get your basic facts right. Someone said, “will gay and lesbian groups have to pay taxes?” — the answer is NO, they don’t right now. Most are non-profit, duh! Also, like it or not a person can refuse service to anyone they want. It’s not a constitutional right that you can buy a cappuccino at a specific store. It IS your constitutional right to not be discriminated against concerning government affairs. If you are kept from voting, receiving a public service, etc for being gay - then yes, that is when your rights have been violated. Also, protecting religious freedom is extremely important, no matter how bigoted there reasoning. If you start restricting religious ideology then a tenant of freedom has just been compromised in this country.
