He’s on the Board of Directors for NOM. If you don’t know, the board of directors decides the mission, vision, values, tactics, and long term goals and strategies of an organization. He regularly meets with other people to decide how NOM is going to lobby and effect change to stop LGBT equality.
So it’s not about his opinion, he’s not a bystander, he’s got a very active and influential role in the anti-gay movement. He’s a leader. That’s the issue that keeps getting missed here.
