davidl33 a year agoSluts wield power over men with poor self control but the slut is not harassed by these weak men. Rapists try to exert power over the women they rape probably because they feel impotent against powerfully, erotically dressed women. They don’t feel worthy enough to go through the normal processes of trying to court the women of their desires, so abuse weaker women.
Most men are civilised enough to control their desires but why do women have this desire to tease without realising the consequences for other women.
Remember, I am not supporting rapists, but blame is always a two-way street. Unfortunately, many officials lack the diplomacy to express this and victimists will always protest given a chance. -

Sarah 2 years agoi understand the point of the protest, that women should be allowed to dress how they want without risking attack…but really? i dont think this was the best way to go about it. is this protest going to change anything? or just notify all rapists in the area of which women are easier than others? why couldnt they protest the police department to provide basic self defence training for women? or at least at a discounted cost? why did they have to just walk around like proud sluts to prove a point? i personally think this whole thing was a massive display of immaturity.

Paula R. 2 years ago“Only something like 4% of convicted rapists can even remember what the person they raped was wearing. If clothing REALLY DID have an affect on rape, I’m pretty sure that that the rapists would be able to remember. If clothing was SO inciting and tempting that it caused some one to rape, they would remember what the clothing was. If they can’t even remember what the victim wore, then obviously it didn’t have an affect. Secondly, women (or people perceived as women) are raped of all ages and regardless of clothing. In fact, the most common outfit a woman has worn when raped is a pair of jeans and a t shirt. How slutty! Statistically you would ACTUALLY be safer dressing in knee boots and a miniskirt than wearing jeans and a t-shirt. But they have also been raped wearing burqahs, school uniforms, pajamas, niqabs, and a wide variety of clothing. So no. Dressing moderately has no affect on your situation to be raped.” -http://stfuhypocrisy.tumblr.com/post/4207702906/trigger-warnging-for-rape-go-becky-go#notes with research from:

Michael D. 2 years agoNo one is saying that women don’t have the right to dress however they want. But given that the nature of the mental defect that causes men to rape is such that they cannot control themselves, and given that it is impossible to predict when a man might develop such tendancies, what on earth can we do to protect ourselves? I have the right to wear my wallet on the outside of my pants, but I would never do it, because it’s a dumbass move, because it makes me an easy and tempting target. If you douse yourself in gasoline and then go up in flames when you come into contact with a spark, are you entirely without blame? Is it ALL the spark’s fault? I think not.

Margo Ess 2 years agoHow about advising men to “avoid being rapists”? Why is it that women are supposed to spend every day of their lives working to not get raped? This notion that men are somehow less responsible because they simply can’t help themselves if they see a woman’s skin is fucking SAD. If you looove ice cream, does that mean every time an ice cream truck drives by, you just can’t stop yourself from chasing it down and stealing all of its contents? No, because you’re a fucking grownup and civilized human being.
The rape culture that exists in our society is *maddening*. -

WhatTheHolyHeck 2 years ago“You were asking for it dressed like that” is almost as offensive to men as it is to women. To women, it says they’re to blame for an act of violence perpetrated against them, and to men, it says they’re all animals incapable of controlling their lust for power over someone weaker.

blue2 2 years agoKnow what, I had it. I don’t care how you dress, I don’t care if you put a hate with trashy and tell me I am a Pig or a pervert rapist sicko. But I do care about fairness and equality. I know I had this talk before but if this video thought me, In order to brake the shell of sexism. we must take action and take down the wall. All honesty I have to say I was afraid of specking my mind because I am a male but no more, I have an option and I have the right to say something as you have the right to dress. Rape Is evil and I never wish rape upon anyone however in order to stop rape, someone must fix the source by giving them therapy and education that there is more to life then sex. If you fully disagree or offended, please explain it to me how am I dead wrong and I will gladly take your side of view into consideration and respect. Lastly Please, please if you choose to dress like a “slut”, be careful and don’t blame all men for the mistake of one.

sunshineforsale 2 years agoBecause it’s obviously not the guy’s fault for RAPING THE WOMAN if the way she was dressed turned him on, of course society could never expect grown men to control themselves and keep it in their pants if a woman says no, that’s unthinkable. The harlot was asking for it! Sexist douchebag pig. Women should be able to dress however they damn well please without having to worry about being violated.
