lupinelle a year agoUgh. I remember coming home from junior high and finding a sheet of paper next to the phone with my (extremely born again) dad’s handwriting. He’d made a list of my tapes, called the PMRC, and took down notes about each album or artist. Yes, Dad, INXS’s “Devil Inside” is definitely going to cause me to turn out a satanist or something.

oOo a year agoWow, Jello was pretty perceptive. That’s exactly what it was, but most of us didn’t hear about that aspect until years later. According to the BBs in interviews years later, they were parodying people who acted like that and had that lifestyle but the audience never got the joke. We just ate it up. After a while they just went with it. But then Paul’s Boutique came out and was a pretty clear departure.
