EW? what about her dress was trashy? regardless of who she is or the fact that she was married in the most watched wedding so far this century, her dress was elegant, understated and timeless. for those who thought her train was too long: THIS is the sort of wedding that calls for a long train, and it was NOTHING compared to diana's train. if you're going to marry a prince in a fairy tale wedding, why wouldn't you have a train on your dress? this is one instance where a train is completely appropriate.  also, those aren't her nipples, they're bust darts. it's the way the bust of her dress is sewn.  i could see the trashy, ew and fail badges if her dress had been covered in sequins and bling, but come on…

For McQueen it's surprisingly ordinary. Besides, with Diana as the act to follow, you can't exactly put on a better show, or in this case, a better dress.

It looks just like every other wedding dress…

To be honest, this basic layout, with a more sheer top and sleeves, is the only wedding dress I find balanced and beautiful. The huge train was not necessary though.
