It makes me sick that people want to restrict birth control…what do they think is going to happen? People who get pregnant and don’t want kids will end up having abortions. All options should be made available; birth control should be accessible and affordable. I”m no fan of abortion, but I’m a fan of freedom; it should be accessible and affordable as well. Women should be treated with more respect and it pains me to see the bullshit double standards and other shit that we women have to endure.

The same people who worry about who I’m banging, what’s in my womb, these m’fers are all about big government getting OUT of our lives, correct? Correct? WTF? If you can’t get out of my uterus, then how can you get out of my tax return?

People really need to step back and learn to separate their personal beliefs and opinions from political agendas. Advocating restrictions and barring choices from the public is the exact OPPOSITE of freedom (Y’know, that thing every pro-life redneck hypocritically preaches about).  Even if you are personally against abortion, you should not be politically against it. Personally, I do not support or advocate abortion. I personally feel as though it is my obligation to raise a child should I father one. However, that’s me. That’s what I believe and feel is the right thing to do.  That is not what you have to believe. I am not going to march to city hall and preaching my beliefs and trying to enforce them on the general population against their will. For whatever reason, if you feel you have a legitimate cause to abort a child, that should be your decision. It is your burden to bear. I have no right to tell you that you shouldn’t have the freedom and the ability to make such a choice. And no one else should be able to tell you that you can’t either. Not if they are true believers in freedom.

Unfortunately abortion isn’t as rare as it should be. With all the birth control available it should be. Hopefully, one day.

I really hate it when people use passages from the bible as logical excuses for something they believe in. That’s fine if you want to believe in what you believe in. Really, it is. If you don’t believe in abortion, don’t freaking get one. If, on the other hand, you prefer to think of your own life before that of a morula or otherwise, by all means, get an abortion if you wish.  By the way, men have absolutely NO right to join this discussion. I’m sorry. These are our bodies. These are our lives. And I really hope that the life of a living, breathing woman is worth more than a cluster of cells to you because it sure is to me.

CONTRACEPTION! Seriously you’re never gonna stop people from having sex, unmarried or otherwise so widespread government funded contraceptives should and must be made available as well as education on how to use them. Abortions themselves should be safe, rare and legal.  In other words, don’t go running around in the rain without a jacket.

if it doesn’t really have brain activity and can’t feel pain then is it even really alive to begin with? what about patients that are brain dead, should we just keep them living on machines forever. just because people feel that every little baby inside a tummy has a soul does not mean others do too. its better for a UNBORN fetus to be aborted then to be born and grow up with abuse or resentment towards it. and for those who say what about adoption? how many kids need to be adopted? how many families are willing to adopt? to many kids not enough families, so unless you want to take all these children and raise them yourself financially mind your business

I think people are missing the point of this video. The real thing to take away here is that regardless of your views on the morality of abortion, it is something that women from ALL backgrounds do.
This doesn’t mean abortion is right or wrong, merely that they fulfill a real need in our society- something to keep in mind when discussing whether or not abortion should be legal. Think about it- if these women could not get an abortion in a safe and dignified way we could see a real increase in illegal and unsafe practices.
Now I want to be clear that I am not advocating one side or another, merely that I’m pointing out the problems in destroying the means and not the root cause.
