    11 Stages Of Results Day PANIC

    Fear, guilt, hope, denial. The 11 stages all students go through before they get their grades.

    1. RELIEF

    @FootyHumour / Via vine.co

    Exams are over. I'm gonna party with my buddies and play some sport in the sunshine. Results? Pfftt they're ages away while I get my Falcao on

    2. DENIAL

    3. HOPE

    Well, everyone goes to uni right? It'll work out. It's just like going from GCSEs to A levels. It'll be fine—my Mum will sort it out. Mum sorting stuff out does not stop me from being a proper adult.

    4. GUILT

    5. FORGIVENESS

    6. PEACE

    One can only beat results day and clearing if one can achieve inner peace. Get some inner peace in spades by doing a quick check of what you need to prepare for on results day

    7. BARGAINING

    8. FEAR

    What if it doesn't work out? What if I'm that weird kid who never leaves town and still dates the girls in sixth form. I must get to uni, any uni.

    9. ANGER

    10. SELF DOUBT

    Maybe, actually it was my fault. Maybe I'm a complete failure in life. I mean look at my sister—she's smart, organised and has a grip on life. Maybe I was adopted.

    11. ACCEPTANCE

    Whatever will be will be. All I need to do is get prepared and read up on what might happen on results day and think about which unis I might like to go to if stuff doesn't work out.
