    My Week With 103 Year Old Ella Kastner, World's Oldest Facebook User

    In August of 2012 BuzzFeed reported that Oma (or grandma) Ella Kastner was the world's oldest Facebook member. “Hello Mr. Mark Zuckerberg,” she says in a YouTube video. “I am on Facebook.” I was intrigued, so I friended her and discovered that she is remarkable, traveling all over the world even as a centenarian. Serendipitously I discovered an online travel community called Passion Passport - www.passionpassport.com - and I entered their Bucket List Initiative travel grant contest - http://passionpassport.com/current-trip/. I was chosen as a finalist, I won the contest, and then I spent eight days in Germany with Oma Ella. That lady changed my life. Here's what I learned from her.

    In the spring of 2013 I won Passion Passport's (passionpassport.com) Bucket List Initiative contest and I traveled to Germany to spend a week with the oldest member of Facebook, 103-year-old Ella Kastner. It was the trip of a lifetime and Ella taught me how to truly enjoy life.
