I don’t think you fully understand how this “tolerance” thing works. This is how you tolerate homosexuality: If you don’t approve of it, fine. Keep your thoughts to yourself and don’t tell people they’re going to hell, or they’re gross, or they’re ruining your life. Let them live their lives the way they feel is right for them, and you do the same. This is how be intolerant of homosexuality: Go on TV saying that being gay is an abomination, that it’s sinful and wrong and gays will have to answer for their sins, and that if “the gays” are allowed to have equal rights, society will collapse. Look at it this way. The Nazis were pretty freaking intolerant of the Jews, right? Is it wrong for someone to say, “You know, what the Nazis did was horrible, and it’s depressing that humanity is capable of such hatred”? Calling someone out for intolerance and bigotry is NOT intolerant.
