Kanye Disses Justin Timberlake And The Grammys In Concert Rant
“I got love for Hov, but I ain’t fucking with that ‘Suit & Tie.’”
Kanye West ripped into the Grammys and Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z’s new single “Suit and Tie” at a concert at the Hammersmith Apollo in London tonight during a improvised extended outro to his song “Clique.” This video shot by a fan at the gig includes the full performance “Clique,” so if you just want to hear the rant, skip ahead to about the four minute mark.
He starts off by talking about the pressure to be a star and make money, and makes it clear that his only concern is making art. He gets his digs in at the Grammys and JT around the six minute mark, singing:
Remind me again why we’re in this shit?
Remind me again why the Grammys could suck my dick?
Remind me again who’s the original Superfly?
And I got love for Hov,
but I’m not fucking with that “Suit and Tie”

Camstradamus 2 months agoIs it possible that he was just trying to use the song title as a reference to not wanting to dress up in a suit and tie for events such as the Grammys? Not the first time a rapper has used the name of a song/movie symbolically. I know he does things for attention, but I doubt he would openly diss something with his mentor and “big brother’s” name on it.

Most of what he does is for the shock value. I just don’t get why everyone gets all huffy when he gives his opinions. He’s entitled to them right?

Gold suit and tie green suit and tie, who gives a shit?! Any skill for making “music” aside, kanye has no business add libbing dumbass banter about other artists songs in the manner he did. If he wants to talk shit, whatever, he needs to do it on his own time. Tell him to send a cry baby tweet with whatever is weighing so heavily on his chest. He uses the most fucked up places and venues to try and make some edgy statement, just like when he de boed the spotlight from Taylor swift. Unnecessary. Uncalled for. He needs to get off his high horse. I mean the kardashian bandwagon.He probably just started banging that hoe to get his street cred back up. This story is dumb.
