(2) What guy, who actually wants to get laid, calls anything on a woman “fat” to her face?
(3) Why is Jay-Z on this track? OK, I know why, but I’m SO sick of rapping in the middle of pop songs. Rap is rap, pop is pop. Sometimes the mix works, but most of the time not. It’s like playing Beethoven in the middle of a country song — both genres are fine in their own right, but really don’t support each other’s groove. Maybe I’m the only one who feels this way… -

When I went to look this up on iTunes, a cardio workout version of this song also came up. I downloaded both. Personally, I like the workout version better because they sped up the tempo.

neilc8 4 months agoThe vocal melody is good! Lyrics aren’t bad, standard verse from Jay Z! Timberlake’s intonation is always on point. Musically it’s a bit weak! The intro is just tapping into the current trend of ‘Trap’ music in a bid to stay relevant. The snare is too sharp & sounds abrasive. The synthesised trumpets are a bit flat. Should have gone with real trumpets! picks up a bit towards the end with the latin percussion. It’s good but not great! You’d expect more after all this time!
