Fred Armisen Is Giving Away An Ian Rubbish EP

He’s taking his hilarious UK punk parody from Saturday Night Live to the next level. Please say a movie is next.

1. Fred Armisen recently starred as a Johnny Rotten-like punk rocker named Ian Rubbish who looooooves Margaret Thatcher in this amazing Saturday Night Live parody of the Sex Pistols documentary The Filth and the Fury.

2. Armisen clearly loves Rubbish. He appeared as the character as the opening act of Vampire Weekend’s big homecoming show in New York City on Sunday.

3. Rubbish also appeared in the webcast of the Vampire Weekend show along with the band and director Steve Buscemi.

4. Now he’s released a free EP featuring four songs by Ian Rubbish and the Bizarros.

5. Here’s one of the songs. It’s called “Sweet Iron Lady.”
