I think her torso stayed the same size.
So, how long until she's “legal?”

“She’s just not the same Dora! Map and I try to get her excited about exploring outside, but all she wants to do is talk about existential nihilism. I don’t even know what that is. She’s dragged poor Backpack into this too. Did you know he wrote GOD IS DEAD on himself?”
Dora the explorer in those slippers and without a backpack? Not even a camelback? That's kind of cruel don't you think? Can you imagine what she'll look like after three days of exploring in those shoes and without so much as a snack, a water bottle or a bedroll? I'm thinking, not so cute then.
She'll still speak retarded Spanglish. :*(

No, I think she's wearing the maternity-style shirt for the episode where she gets pregnant. Nickelodeon wants to give the show a grittier more urban feel, it's gonna be like “The Shield”, really provocative, edgy stuff, I can't wait to see it. Apparently, Diego gets his one of his toes cut off over a bad drug deal in the first episode.
Wtf!??!? Lol I still hate Dora
“Peanuts” characters didn't age because the strip wasn't for children. It was aimed at adults. If you appreciated it as a child, odds are you'd still appreciate it at 40. The content never changed. Dora uses cutesy characters and endless repetition to teach kids in the 3-8 age range colors, counting, and basic Spanish. Of course those kids aren't going to be interested in watching when they're older. I'm guessing Dora won't be the only aspect of the show getting a makeover.
the original dora always had her pudgy tummy sticking out…i take it the maternity style shirt is to cover the evidence of her still ill eating habits??

I think it's cute. She doesn't look like a sexed up version or a bratz clone. She looks like a 10 yr old. My daughter loves Dora & I'm sure she'll love this one 2!!
Well it seems she grew into her head. Or helmet hair grew out?
“Today's adventure is….like, boys! Oh my goodness, boys and girls, do you think he REALLY likes me?…Awww, you're just saying that to make me feel better.”
I don't think it's that bad. It could have been worse! http://twurl.nl/13luu5
So Charles Schulz should've “aged” his Peanuts characters to retain his aging audience. So that's where he went wrong. Um right. DORA FAIL
Even with an updated, older Dora… I can't imagine it being cool for an 11-year-old to say his or her favorite show is Dora the Explorer.

Well, they didn't give her a rack. That's something.
