Make your own post!Pittsburgh Penguins 2012 Deadline Trade Rumors
Here we go again, the trade rumors are circling and the Pittsburgh Penguins have been brought up again over and over mostly mentioning the Penguins picking up rental players. The NHL trade deadline is February 27, 2012. The Pittsburgh Penguins have only a couple hundred thousand in cap space but they make up for that in Long Term Injury Reserve (LTIR) cash. My estimates, and this all depends on when Sidney Crosby and Jordan Staal return, by trade deadline day Ray Shero could have about... Read More

Book Review: 100 Things Penguins Fans Should Know and Do Before They Die
When I first learned that fellow PenguinPoop blogger Rick Buker had written a new book about the Pittsburgh Penguins, I must confess that I wondered what he could’ve found to write about. After all, his first book — “Total Penguins” — was 705 pages and covered just about everything you’d ever want to know about the team but was afraid to ask. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that “100 Things Penguins Fans Should Know and Do Before They Die” contains plenty of fresh material.

Video: Pittsburgh Steelers Renegade Tribute at Penguins Game
I have to admit we are very psyched about the Pittsburgh Steelers Superbowl tomorrow and the game against the Washington Capitals at 12:30PM to kick the day off. The atmosphere last night was incredible. It is definitely in the back of our minds that the last time the Steelers won the Superbowl, the Penguins won the Stanley Cup... Once again the Pittsburgh Penguins players names are being thrown around as possible trade candidates to try land a top winger for Crosby. Pittsburgh Penguins First Half of the Season Report
When the horn sounded at the end of last nights game, it marked the end of the first half of the season for the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Penguins themselves have less than twenty four hours from the end of the first half last night ’til the start of the second half tonight in Montreal. Most of their time will be spent traveling up to Montreal tonight to face the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year. Since they won’t have time to evaluate the first half and to ponder the second half, we thought we’d get the group of writers here at PenguinPoop to do it for them.
HBO 24/7 Has Capitals and Penguins Players Acting Different On the Ice
The players, the media and the NHL can tell you all they want that the players are not acting different, but think to yourself when was the last time you saw Ovechkin drop the gloves to fight like he did on Sunday. If you guessed he’s only dropped the gloves once before Sunday his entire NHL career and that was over 4 years ago, award yourself a gold star. What are the chances 24/7 would just happen to be there? What amazing luck. Read More Here: HBO 24/7 has Capitals and Penguins Players Acting Different On the Ice

Mario Lemieux’s Greatest Goal Finally Gets It’s Day in Court
On April 2, 1988 Mario Lemieux had the greatest game of his career and unfortunately no one cared because of what happened the night after. As it turns out, if you did not witness the game on that exact night, you would not have a clue how great a game it really was. As it turns out, I was a Penguins fan back then, I witnessed it and I’m going to tell you a little story that has pretty much gone down in folklore with many of the long time fans… Click Here to Read: Mario Lemieux’s Greatest Goal Finally Gets it’s Day in Court
