It’s annoying, but there’s a logical reason why sites make you choose a password with a number.
How can they know this? The internet hasn’t even been around for 44,530 years. Duh!
What’s the point when I have to write it down on a piece of paper, drop it in the hall by accident, and hackers come and take all my porn?
What is perhaps less important than password entropy (how difficult it is to randomly guess a password), is to not use the same password for everything. Especially do not use your email (and obviously banking) passwords for signing up to forums and things like that.
can you really even call it hacking if they’re just guessing?
