This guy is trying to raise money by lifting heavy things with his beard. He's up to 11-pound objects. I always found facial hair to be pointless and unnecessary, so it's nice to see someone doing something useful and productive with their beard.

His blog says he lifted a millennium falcon model as his 7 pound object. If you actually look at the scale, it's 8 pounds. I wonder where the 11 pounds in the summary came from…
