Just a bit of history repeating itself and a source of many jokes, this used to be the case among Catholic teenage girls in Italy trying to preserve their virginity.

Uhhh…it happens, Zorro. It happens.

FOR ALL OF THOSE WHO WON'T ACTUALLY READ THE ARTICLES, “Saddlebacking” is a term created and defined by blogger Dan Savage because he held a contest to cook up a funny definition of the word, not because this is an actual recorded or documented trend among Christian teens.  In fact, there's nothing in the articles to suggest that this is a common or widespread “phenomenon” (to use your word).

Of course, it's fine for them to do it but not the gays.
