travis spencer 4 years agothis is actually something we do when we go camping. you take all kinds of leftovers from the two or three days previous, and on the last morning, you make the omelet in a bag. yes you can do it over the fire… yes you can do it on the camp stove. make sure you use a ziplock FREEZER bag and once you get all the egg, cheese, steak chunks, brauts, mushrooms and other veggies, and perhaps even some salsa, then mix it really well. be sure to suck out the extra air (otherwise it could expand and pop). boil for a while while your cleaning up and then enjoy just before you head out. all you have to throw out is the bag. perfection.

Greg Saunders 4 years agoUmmmm…no. Those are an oddly-shaped lump of scrambled eggs in a bag. Omelets are round and flat and folded around a filling of some sort.
