I agree. It shouldn't matter. My gov is a lesbian and I'm a fan.

I say good for him! Who cares if there are openly gay people on his team? If they are efficient at their job, that's ALL that should matter. Sexual orientation doesn't matter.

I was just wondering, for a reference figure, how many people (total) are on the transition team, and according to the data on Obama's site (change.gov) there are tons. All that to say it's not really that surprising that out of a list of 250 or so people, that there are 7 or 8 openly homosexual individuals. I'm just putting that out there before someone with a conservative republican bent jumps to the conclusion that Obama made a huge percentage of his transition team homosexual. For anyone interested:
