I'm a glass-half-full kinda guy, and what I see when I read this is a story that's infinitely more literate and thematically far more progressive than anything that's ever come out of a major NASCAR mecca. Admit it, all you ivory-tower types: Creatively, it just beats the pants off of applying a decal of the number “88” with angel wings to the rear window of an old Dodge Ram—which is as creative as most rednecks get. Granted, signing your name in the snow with your urine stream beats the pants off of that too, but they don't have snow in Florida. So give this guy some credit; it's not everyday you see this kind of talent come out of Volusia County.
