The first time I ever heard this band I was hanging out with my best friend and her boyfriend. He suggests a joint, which we indulge in, and after a few rounds he gets a grin on his face disappears from the room, comes back & tells me he wants me to listen to a band he doubts I have heard before. He asks me what I think. (before he tells me that voice is coming from a bird) I told him I was totally into it. Then he unleashes the fact that I just gave props to a parrot, I was like “yeah riiiiight”. But my friend backed him up. I laughed until I cried. He said it was the best reaction he'd ever seen from putting Hatebeak on for his unsuspecting victims. I thought it was the funniest thing ever, and I have since done the same thing to a few of my unknowing friends. Even my mom. Ha! Finally glad to see Hatebeak get some recognition! Go Waldo!

For the train-spotters - their album “Beak Of Putrefaction” is a riff on grind kings Carcass' “Reek Of Putrefaction”, the cover art is obviously a rip on Judas Preist's “Screaming For Vengeance” and the name? Hatebreed.

The only thing better than this would be a grindcore band fronted by a kitten.

Does this sound like every other screamo/crabcore band around because it's fronted by a parrot that's learned to imitate the vocal style of the genre, or because every other band in the genre sounds like a couple of dudes with a parrot doing the vocals? I can't decide.

DAMMIT! they stole my idea! only i was gonna have pigs doing actual pig squeals and dogs growling and monkeys and parrots screaming.
