thecultofpop a year agoShoshingo is correct, Tommy Lee is also an actual DJ now. How legitimate he is is up for debate, but he buddies with Deadmau5, and obviously as you pointed out, opened for Skrillex. Neither make you a DJ but he is clearly breaking into that genre.

Shoshingo a year agoThis is a great post, but there are two entries here that I think are a bit tactless: two of the celebrities noted are not just putting headphones on and “pretending” to DJ (like snookie or Audrina). Danny Masterson (DJ Mom Jeans) and Idris Elba (DJ Big Driis/Big Driis the Londoner) are actual DJ’s. With full-on gigs and (in Idris’ case) a signed recording contract. Seems pretty mean to include them, who are actually working hard to promote themselves in the music biz, together in a list with people who only showed up at a party and went to the DJ booth for a photo op. Maybe a few others in the list fit this profile as well?
