the trailer has it right when it refers to the director of the movie as a self-hating negro. this crap is basically minstrelsy for white audiences to laugh at the funny nigras on screen. Of course, now it's covered in retro hipster irony and whatnot, but in the end it's the same old racist shit.

ok, so where are all of the horror movie lovers out there?…anybody?….no? ok, well i'm back on this posting for the second time today to watch that trailer again becuase i thought it was grade A, classless, totally hillarious, grindhouse style horror. Rotten cotton [the company that produced that cinematic gem]is an underground horror house syndicate that sells the most outrageous horror movie/exploitation products. definitley not for the weak of heart or stomach, but very entertaining for those who know the difference between reality and a make-believe murder doll. i'm sad the trailer was removed.

It pains me to see people reacting weirdly to this one…it's an over-the-top satirical horror movie. And the director is a black guy. Ridiculous and trashy, sure. But Song of the South it ain't.
